Rogue River Institute

In consideration of me being allowed to participate in Rogue River Institute events and activities, I HEREBY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL RISKS INVOLVED IN MY PARTICIPATION IN ROGUE RIVER INSTITUTE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS. I understand that RRI performs background sex offender checks on persons attending RRI events and I agree and consent to these checks. All information obtained by RRI will be kept confidential. I understand that RRI has the right to refuse participation in RRI events to any participant, aide, volunteer, or interested persons.

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL ITEMS, INCLUDING RIVER GEAR, THAT I VOLUNTEER AND/OR I CHOOSE TO BRING FOR ROGUE RIVER INSTITUTE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS. I WILL NOT ASK THE ORGANIZATION TO REPLACE BROKEN, DAMAGED, MISPLACED, LOST, OR STOLEN ITEMS. I ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILTY OF SUCH ITEMS, AND I ACKNOWLEDGE IT IS MY PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY TO MANAGE THE ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT I BRING TO ROGUE RIVER INSTITUTE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS. IN THE EVENT THAT ITEMS I BRING TO ROGUE RIVER INSTITUTE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS BECOME BROKEN, DAMAGED, MISPLACED, LOST, OR STOLEN IT IS NOT THE ORGANIZATIONS RESPONSIBILTY TO INVESTIGATE SUCH INSTANCES OR OFFER ANY TYPE OF COMPENSATION.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND CONVENANT NOT TO SUE the club members, its officers, participants, volunteers, promoters, sanctioning organization, or any subdivision, thereof, owners and leasees of the premises used to conduct said events, and each of them, all for the purposes herein referred to as “releasees” from all liability to the undersigned, his/her personal representatives, assignees, heirs, and next of kin for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or property.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the presence of the undersigned in any way while participating in any event and whether caused by the negligence of releasees or otherwise for losses, damages (including attorney’s fees) which may be brought against me or against any of them by anyone claiming to be injured (including death) as a result of any injury caused by me or injury to me or the claimant’s property which may occur as a result of my participation.

EACH OF THE UNDERSIGNED FURTHER EXPRESSLY AGREES that the foregoing release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law in the State/Province in which the event is conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full force and effect.

THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THIS RELEASE, WAIVER AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT and further agrees no oral representations and inducements apart from the foregoing have been made.
